White tea with ginger and lemon: a breath of freshness

This blend is built on a base of organic white tea Pai Mu Tan. White tea offers a gentle, delicately sweet flavour that pairs beautifully with Chinese green tea leaves. A refreshing finish follows, carried by the aromas of lemon and lemongrass. A light, warming spice lingers on the palate, thanks to the pieces of ginger. This tea sweeps your senses away on the subtle breeze of an exotic garden. For a fruitier taste, try adding raspberry. Prefer something sweeter? Dare to blend it with Rooibos.

The benefits of white tea with ginger and lemon

Pai Mu Tan white tea is rich in antioxidants and is recommended for supporting healthy blood pressure. White tea is also known for helping to reduce levels of bad cholesterol. In this blend, it is complemented by lemon peel, valued for boosting immunity, aiding digestion and helping to prevent type 2 diabetes and hypercholesterolaemia.
These benefits are further supported by ginger, with its well-known anti-inflammatory properties. Lemongrass rounds out this wealth of goodness with its hypotensive, bactericidal and antispasmodic qualities. A delicate, soothing infusion, ideal after a rich meal and a natural ally for cardiovascular health.

Brewing tips

How to prepare white tea with ginger and lemon

In just 1 to 2 minutes, you can enjoy a cup of Pai Mu Tan white tea with a subtle citrus flavour. Simply steep the ingredients in a cup of hot water and let the gentle aromas unfold.

How much tea to use

To bring out the full depth of flavour, we recommend 12 to 15 grams of our Pai Mu Tan white tea infusion with ginger and fruit for 1 litre of hot water.

What is the ideal brewing temperature?

White tea buds are delicate. We recommend using water at 70–80 °C. Beyond that, the heat may damage the leaves and fruit pieces.

When is the best time to drink it?

Unlike black tea, white tea is naturally low in caffeine. This infusion with its subtle ginger and citrus fragrance can be enjoyed at any time of day, morning through to evening.

Sold loose-leaf, our organically grown products are packaged in a tin or a resealable freshness pouch. This format keeps the natural flavour of the botanicals perfectly preserved. You also get beautifully cut pieces of fruit, leaves, flowers and buds at unbeatable value for money.
