Our B2B offer

Three ways to buy tea wholesale

To meet the real needs of every professional, from the independent tea room to the hotel group, our offer is built around three complementary formats that you can freely combine.

1 Loose-leaf tea by the kilo

The most flexible wholesale option: order tea leaves by the kilo, packed in sealed food-grade kraft bags. Ideal for tea rooms, tea houses, restaurants, hotels, spas and loose-leaf shops. Minimum 1 kg per reference, with fast delivery across France and beyond.

2 Ready-to-sell products

Our finished Thés & Traditions boxes and tea bags, shelf-ready to go. Earl Grey, Sencha, vanilla Rooibos, verbena herbal infusion and our signature blends. A natural fit for fine food shops, concept stores, gift boutiques and online retailers looking to expand their range without managing packaging.

3 Private label & co-branding

Looking to launch your own tea brand? We guide you through every step: sourcing organic loose-leaf teas, crafting signature blends, custom packaging, branded labels, and production in France.

Private label

Create your own tea brand with us

Launching a tea brand is an exciting project, and a demanding one. Our private label and co-branding service is designed for entrepreneurs starting from scratch and established brands alike, looking to grow their range.

What we handle

  • Tea selection tailored to your positioning (premium, organic, accessible, signature flavour profile).
  • Bespoke blends: exclusive recipes (flavoured black tea, wellness herbal infusion, Matcha blend).
  • Custom packaging: kraft pouches, windowed doypacks, metal tins, pyramid bags, tea bags.
  • Branded labelling, integration of your visuals, design support if needed.
  • Packaged in France, in our Provence workshops: a genuine selling point for your end customers.

Volumes & lead times

Our minimums are kept deliberately accessible to let younger brands get off the ground: starting from a few dozen to a few hundred units per reference depending on packaging, with production lead times of 3 to 6 weeks. For an exclusive signature blend, generally from 10 kg of mix upwards.

Our commitments

Why choose Thés & Traditions as your wholesale tea supplier

The wholesale tea market has many players. Here are the six concrete commitments that shape every relationship we have with our professional clients.

  • A French family house

Based since 2016 in Simiane-Collongue, near Aix-en-Provence. A small, reachable team that follows every client personally. Our family built Thés & Traditions around a genuine French artisanal craft.

  • An in-house curated selection

Every reference in the catalogue is tasted and approved. Our teas come from China, Japan, India, Sri Lanka, South Africa and other recognised terroirs worldwide, through trusted producer partners.

  • Mostly AB-certified organic

The vast majority of our catalogue is organically grown and certified AB under European organic standards. A small number of conventional references remain for the most sought-after classics.

  • Packaged in France

All packaging takes place in our Provence workshops. This ensures the freshness of the leaves, full batch traceability, and the ability to produce small customised runs for private label clients.

  • A wide and coherent catalogue

Over 450 references: black, green, white, Oolong, Pu-erh, Matcha, Rooibos, herbal infusions, signature blends and timeless classics. Everything you need to build a complete range in a single order.

  • Expert advice from a dedicated contact

Julien Huot, the house's founder and manager, and his team are on hand directly: reference selection, price-to-quality balance, and planning ahead for peak seasons (Christmas, summer, back-to-school).

How it works

Ordering in five steps

A simple, transparent process, built around genuine conversation and a precise quote rather than a sales pitch.

  1. First contact By email, contact form or phone: tell us about your business, your needs and your volumes. We open a trade account.
  2. Catalogue & B2B pricing Full catalogue and wholesale pricing tailored to your profile (loose-leaf, ready-to-sell, private label).
  3. Samples (optional) A representative selection of the range, or a targeted pack focused on the references you have in mind, so you can taste before you commit.
  4. Personalised quote Within 48 working hours on average: a detailed breakdown of references, packaging options, pricing and lead times.
  5. Preparation & dispatch Prepared in our French workshops and shipped to your shop, warehouse or directly to your customers.

Julien Huot

Founder & Manager, Thés & Traditions

"When a professional reaches out with a B2B project, I personally take the time to understand the real need. An independent tea room, a hotel and a brand just starting out don't have the same expectations. My role is to guide you toward the most fitting selection, not the largest one, so that your offer sells and feels genuinely yours."

Julien Huot founded Thés & Traditions in 2016. The house selects, packages and ships from its workshops in Simiane-Collongue, Provence. Today it supports dozens of B2B partners across France and Europe.

FAQ

Questions from trade professionals

Everything you need to know before starting a partnership with us.

What is your minimum order for loose-leaf tea?

For loose-leaf tea by the kilo, the minimum starts at 1 kg per reference, with an opening order total kept deliberately accessible for smaller businesses. For private label and packaged products, minimums depend on the packaging chosen: we will give you precise figures after an initial conversation.

Do you offer samples before ordering?

Yes, and we strongly recommend it for a first partnership. We put together a sample pack on request, either representative of the full range or focused on the references you are considering. The terms (complimentary, deductible from the first order, or paid) are discussed based on the scale of the project.

What are your delivery lead times?

For loose-leaf tea and ready-to-sell products already in stock, allow a few working days for preparation, followed by standard shipping. For private label, lead times include label production and custom packaging: plan for 3 to 6 weeks depending on complexity.

Are your teas certified organic?

The majority of our catalogue is organically grown and certified AB under European organic standards. A small number of conventional references remain, as they are among the most requested classics. Organic status is noted on each product listing.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship to trade clients in mainland France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland and more broadly across the European Union. For destinations outside the EU, please contact us directly.

How does your private label service work?

You share your positioning, packaging requirements and target volumes. We propose a tailored selection of teas and infusions, refine the recipes together, then produce and package everything under your brand in our French workshops. The service covers organic loose-leaf teas, Matcha, Rooibos and herbal infusions.

Where do your teas come from?

Our teas come from the world's great producing regions: China (green tea, Oolong, Pu-erh, white tea), Japan (Sencha, Matcha, Gyokuro), India (Darjeeling, Assam), Sri Lanka (Ceylon), and South Africa (Rooibos). The herbs used in our infusions are sourced from Europe and the Mediterranean.

What are your wholesale prices?

Our B2B pricing varies by format (loose-leaf by the kilo, ready-to-sell, private label) and volume. It is structured in tiers and shared on request once a trade account has been opened. We work with our partners with a long-term relationship in mind.

Do you offer 30 or 45-day payment terms?

For initial orders, payment is due at the time of order (credit card or bank transfer). For recurring partnerships, 30-day end-of-month payment terms can be arranged after a few orders have been placed.

Ready to build your tea offer with a serious partner?

Thés & Traditions works with trade professionals (fine food shops, tea rooms, hotels, restaurants, spas, online retailers, brands in the making) with a coherent offer of teas, herbal infusions, Rooibos and Matcha, available loose-leaf by the kilo, as ready-to-sell products, or as private label.
