At a glance: Sencha + guava, grapefruit, lavender, lemon and mandarin. Brew at 70-80°C, 2-3 min, 12-15 g/L. Perfect for mornings and throughout the day.

Some teas tell the story of a season. Summer Breeze is one of them. A Sencha base enriched with citrus peel and a whisper of florals, like a late-morning breeze drifting through an orchard.

In the cup, the liquor takes on a pale golden-green hue. The aroma rises straight away: juicy guava, bright zest, a quiet hint of lavender blossom. A joyful blend, ideal for those just beginning to explore flavoured green teas.

The Aromatic Profile of Summer Breeze

This blend plays across three perfectly balanced registers. The Sencha leaf offers a fresh, lightly herbaceous base, over which bright, sun-ripened fruit notes settle naturally.

On the first sip, lemon and mandarin peel bring an immediate, zingy acidity. The nose catches the characteristic freshness of candied citrus, rounded and natural.

The heart reveals guava and grapefruit, carried by carefully dosed natural aromas. The guava brings its exotic, almost creamy sweetness, while the grapefruit contributes its noble bitterness.

On the finish, a few lavender blossoms sign the blend with a subtle Provençal touch. They soften the whole without ever taking over, leaving a fresh, floral lingering note on the palate.

This infusion is made for lovers of bright, fruity cups. If you lean toward more floral profiles, you might also enjoy our Lolita Organic Green Tea, with its strawberry and violet notes.

How to Brew Summer Breeze Green Tea

A great cup comes down to a few simple steps. Water that is too hot will scorch the Sencha and overwhelm the delicacy of the citrus. Follow the four-parameter rule: water quality, quantity, temperature, steeping time.

Water: choose a low-mineral, soft water to let the aromas shine through.

Quantity: use 12 to 15 g per litre, roughly a heaped tablespoon for a 50 cl teapot.

Temperature: heat the water to 70-80°C. Any hotter and the Sencha will turn bitter.

Steeping time: infuse for 2 to 3 minutes, no longer. Strain and enjoy without sugar to let the natural fruit come through.

For a refreshing summer version, try a cold brew: 15 g of leaves in 1 litre of cold water, left in the fridge for 6 to 8 hours. The result is clear, gently smooth, and really showcases those guava notes.

This tea also lends itself to multiple steepings. The second cup often reveals a different side, more vegetal and grounded. Browse our guide When to drink green tea to find your ideal rhythm throughout the day.

Storing Summer Breeze

Keep the leaves in an airtight, opaque tin, away from light, moisture and strong odours. A stable ambient temperature of around 18-20°C will preserve the freshness of the citrus and the delicacy of the lavender for 18 to 24 months.
