At a glance: A fruity Mochi Flower herbal infusion with notes of raspberry, pineapple and ginger. Brew at 100°C for 10-12 min, 12-15g/L. Caffeine-free, delicious hot or iced.

Inspired by the gentle sweetness of Japanese confectionery, our Mochi Flower captures the tenderness of a pearlescent pink dessert. This caffeine-free, fruity herbal infusion is a pleasure at any hour, from afternoon to evening.

It joins a beautiful family of our herbal infusions, crafted by our house to bring simple, radiant moments of enjoyment.

The aromatic profile of Mochi Flower

The moment you open the bag, the fragrance is immediate: ripe raspberry, candied pineapple, a hint of cream. In the cup, beetroot and mallow flowers give the brew its signature raspberry-pink colour.

On the palate, pineapple pieces and apple chunks deliver a naturally fruity flavour. Diced candied ginger adds a lively warmth, balanced by the soft sweetness of coloured sugar flowers. Calendula brings the final floral touch.

The taste is smooth, gently tart and almost pastry-like. An infusion that evokes the spirit of a fine confection, without ever feeling heavy. Explore our other herbal infusions and tisanes to continue the journey.

How to prepare Mochi Flower herbal infusion

Use 12 to 15g of the blend per litre of water, roughly a heaped tablespoon per cup. Pour water at a rolling boil (100°C) over the fruits and flowers, then steep for 10 to 12 minutes. The longer brew time allows the fruit pieces to release their full flavour.

Strain and enjoy as it comes, without added sugar: the candied fruits already lend a delicate natural sweetness. For an iced version, double the dosage, brew hot, then pour over ice for a pink, refreshing drink perfect for warm days.

For an extra spicy note, pair this infusion with our ginger pieces on the side. You might also enjoy our Fruity Juice herbal infusion, a melon-peach blend for more fruity variety.

Storage

Store your herbal infusion in an airtight tin, away from light, heat and moisture. Packed in our workshop, it retains its full fruity fragrance for 18 to 24 months. Julien Huot, founder of Thés & Traditions, personally selects every creation in our catalogue.

Always reseal the bag carefully after each use. Keep it away from spices or coffee, which could affect the delicate fruity character of the blend.
