The aromatic profile of this coriander infusion
On the nose, strawberry leads with its sweet, lightly tangy character, backed by pieces of apple and goji berry. It is immediately indulgent, almost jammy, an aroma that evokes sun-dappled woodland.
At the heart, coriander seed (5%) releases its citrusy, faintly anise-like notes. Cardamom and cinnamon carry the spice forward with warmth, while orange peel adds a bright, sunny lift.
In the finish, rose petals and mallow bring a delicate floral signature. Popcorn, one of the blend's more surprising ingredients, lends an almost biscuity smoothness. Red beetroot gives the liquor its beautiful rosy hue.
How to brew this wild strawberry and coriander herbal infusion
Bring soft, low-mineral water to 100°C. Use 15 to 20 g of blend per litre, roughly one heaped tablespoon per large cup.
Steep for 10 to 12 minutes, covered, to allow the spices and fruit to fully release their aromas. Strain and enjoy as it is: no sweetener needed, as the strawberry and apple naturally round out the cup.
This infusion also works beautifully iced: brew hot, let cool, then serve over ice with a slice of orange. A perfect fruity refresher in summer. For a different take, try our Green Point herbal infusion, with a cooler, minty edge.
