A semi-oxidised Oolong with a fruity, fragrant character

Sitting between black and green teas, Oolong teas are partially oxidised. The degree of oxidation shapes the flavour: some lean toward the woody, nutty notes of a black tea, others toward the delicate florals of a green.
Our semi-oxidised Oolong comes from Fujian, China, where the leaves are grown in lush, natural surroundings. Its gentle infusions release relatively little caffeine compared to other teas or coffee. This organic tea is scented with orange peel and dried mango, giving each cup a pleasantly tart, exotic quality.

The benefits of semi-oxidised Oolong

Oolong tea is celebrated around the world for its wellness properties. Its antioxidants help protect cells from oxidative stress, while the partial fermentation of the leaves supports healthy digestion. The aromatic notes of the infusion also contain a naturally calming compound.
In our semi-oxidised Oolong tea bags, you'll also find orange and mango, two fruits rich in vitamin C and fibre, with an indulgent, rounded sweetness.

Brewing guide

How to prepare semi-oxidised Oolong

Transport yourself to the mountains of Fujian with our loose-leaf Oolong. Simply steep the organic leaves in hot water for 2 to 4 minutes.

How much loose-leaf Oolong to use?

To bring out the full flavour and aroma of Oolong, use 12 to 15 grams of loose-leaf tea per litre of water.

What is the ideal brewing temperature for semi-oxidised Oolong?

Water heated to 80 °C works beautifully for Chinese Oolong teas. Allow it to steep for a few minutes, then it's ready to enjoy.

When can you drink semi-oxidised Oolong?

With its low caffeine content, our organic tea is a pleasure at any hour: at breakfast, at teatime, even in the evening. Unlike coffee or more heavily oxidised teas, it won't keep you wired.
