In a nutshell: Korea Mystic Green is an organic green tea from South Korea, with fresh vegetal notes and a gentle sweetness. Brew 12 to 15 g/L at 70-80°C for 2 to 3 minutes, ideally in the morning or during the day.

In South Korea, green tea cultivation is rooted in a quiet, centuries-old tradition, far removed from the large-scale productions of other Asian tea regions. Korean gardens, often nestled on misty hillsides swept by cool winds, yield leaves of rare delicacy, carefully harvested with each passing season. It is in this unspoiled setting that Korea Mystic Green was born, selected by Julien Huot for the distinctive character of its profile and the purity of its liquor.

This organic grand cru stands apart for its carefully crafted leaves, which unfurl in the cup to reveal the full vegetal complexity that defines the finest Korean green teas. Explore our selection of grand cru and rare teas to continue the journey.

The aromatic profile of Korea Mystic Green

On opening the packet, the first impression is one of subtle herbal freshness, evoking tender grass and spring leaves still touched by morning dew. The liquor, a pale and luminous yellow-green, keeps its promise of a smooth, soothing cup.

On the palate, the entry is fresh and almost silky, with a gentle vegetal sweetness that gradually gives way to a light umami note characteristic of East Asian green teas. The finish, slightly sweet and lingering, naturally invites a second cup. To get the most from this grand cru, keep the water temperature below 80°C and steep for 2 to 3 minutes, preserving every nuance of the leaf's aromatic finesse.
