A miniature woodland to store your teas

The Merla Green tin carries the same naturalist design as its sister box, set against a soft almond green background. Birch branches, oak and hazel leaves, clusters of red berries: the garden birds have made it their home, with the robin taking pride of place alongside nests and speckled blue eggs. A blue butterfly and a few bees complete the scene, which continues across the lid. A tin that brings a touch of greenery to a shelf or worktop.

Its name comes from the blackbird, that familiar friend of the garden. The tin is also available in the cream version: the two together, one for your morning tea and one for the afternoon, make a lovely gift.

Designed to keep your tea at its best

Square in shape, the tin is made from tinplate, with a food-safe interior lacquer (compliant with European regulation 1935/2004) and a BPA-free decorative exterior coating. The lid fits snugly and lifts off with ease, protecting the contents from air, light and moisture, all of which cause tea to lose its aroma over time.

It holds approximately 150 g of dry product. The actual quantity depends on what you store inside: a broken-leaf black tea or a rooibos will pack more densely than a white tea or a floral herbal infusion, which take up considerably more space.
