Anthracite box adorned with multicolored cherry blossoms in pastel hues
Japanese tea caddy
Snow-capped Mount Fuji, a golden sun, seigaiha waves and a scattering of cherry blossoms: this washi tea caddy carries the name Kotobuki, the Japanese word for wishes of happiness and long life. Crafted in Japan from tinplate wrapped in washi paper, it keeps around 100 g of tea safe from light, moisture and odours thanks to its double lid. A bright, compact little caddy, perfect beside the teapot or given as a gift.

Carefully crafted to create unforgettable tasting moments. A signature taste, an authentic experience.
In Japan, kotobuki (寿) is the word for life's great occasions: written to wish happiness and long life. Every detail of this tin's design draws on that tradition. Mount Fuji crowned with snow, a golden sun rising behind it, stylized clouds, seigaiha fan waves (a classic motif of peace and good luck), and a scattering of cherry blossoms. The whole composition shines in sky blue, powder pink and gold, making it a beautiful piece to display on a shelf or countertop.
Tea has four natural enemies: light, moisture, heat and strong odours. An opaque tin with a double lid protects against the first three, as long as you keep it away from the hob and the spice cupboard. It's best to store one tea per tin: leaves quickly absorb the scents of their neighbours, especially flavoured teas.
To clean the tin, a dry cloth is all you need. Washi paper doesn't take well to water, so avoid damp sponges and dishwashers.
At 100 g, this tin works just as well for everyday teas as for those set aside for special moments. Filled with a Japanese green tea or a flavoured blend, it becomes a complete gift in itself, one that's kept and treasured long after the last cup.
