The benefits of Moroccan honey green tea

Green tea is beloved the world over. Across North Africa, mint tea holds a special place at the table, finding its way into kitchens and countless recipes. For those who aren't keen on plain water, a flavoured tea is a gentle, enjoyable way to stay hydrated. And on a cold day, a square of chocolate alongside a warm cup of green tea is one of life's simple comforts — a perfect companion for getting through the long winter months.

Our brewing tips

How to prepare Moroccan honey green tea

Brewing a cup of our tea is wonderfully simple. Measure the recommended amount of tea into your teapot. Bring your water to the right temperature rather than a full boil, and let the leaves steep for a few minutes. Then sit back and enjoy it with those you love.

How much Moroccan honey green tea to use?

Follow the quantities indicated on the packet and avoid using more than suggested. For this Moroccan green tea, we recommend 12 to 15 grams per litre of water. Using more leaves won't intensify the flavour — it will simply unbalance it.

What is the ideal brewing temperature for Moroccan honey green tea?

To bring out the full character of this tea, follow the preparation guidelines carefully. The ideal brewing temperature is between 75 and 80 °C. Any hotter and the delicate sweet notes will be lost; any cooler and the leaves won't have time to release all their aromas.

When is the best time to enjoy Moroccan honey green tea?

Our Moroccan tea can be enjoyed with family at any time of day. Whether alongside a meal or as an afternoon treat, the choice is yours. The gentle sweetness of the fruit makes this the perfect tea for a moment of indulgence.

The benefits of loose-leaf Moroccan honey green tea

Loose-leaf teas offer a real advantage when it comes to reducing packaging waste. At Thés & Traditions, we're committed to this eco-conscious and economical approach. Loose-leaf teas also preserve their ingredients better: the leaves and fruit pieces are handled far less than their tea-bag counterparts, ensuring freshness and flavour in every cup.
