Consuming organic products can raise some questions. At Thés & Traditions, all our teas are AB certified. With the different organic tea labels, you might wonder if the AB certificate has real meaning. To clarify this, you should know that the organic farming certificate (AB) is a quality label that complies with both European and French regulations. Moreover, obtaining this certification is based on several criteria.

Organic farming is an environmentally friendly production method. Organic labels are the signs that guarantee this production method to consumers. The AB certification, which is one of these labels, follows specifications defined by European and French regulations and requires strict official control. It concerns all actors in the organic food industry such as:
The AB certificate is visible on our products through the French AB logo and the European organic logo. It proves that our teas comply with organic farming regulations. The AB certificate is therefore a guarantee of quality for products sold on Thés & Traditions.
The AB certificate can only be obtained after passing different control stages. The AB brand belongs to the Ministry of Agriculture. Its use is therefore subject to usage rules, just like the European organic logo.The different steps to obtain AB certification are:
Controls by certification bodies approved by INAO (such as Ecocert, Eurofins, Alpes Contrôles or AFNOR to name just a few) are renewed at least once a year. The AB certified tea from Thés & Traditions meets all these quality criteria. It therefore offers you all the benefits of organic farming. Our teas are grown without pesticides and GMOs and are harvested under sustainable and fair conditions.
