Unlike Roman chamomile, which has a very bitter taste, German chamomile has a mild flavor. Perfect after a meal, this infusion brings well-being and inner peace. The drink also provides pleasant warmth during winter evenings or rainy days. Combined with another flower, such as rose, organic chamomile infusion soothes and relaxes both young and old.

How much organic chamomile should you use?

The taste of German chamomile is delicate. To ensure a quality herbal tea, we recommend using 13 to 18 grams of dried flowers per liter of water. When more diluted, organic chamomile loses the benefits of the oil contained in its flowers and its taste becomes bland.

What is the ideal steeping temperature for organic chamomile?

To obtain a quality organic chamomile tea, the product should be steeped at a temperature of 100°C. This way, the herbal plant preserves its benefits. Hotter water would denature the essential oil of the flowers.

When should you drink organic chamomile?

Ideal for digestion, organic German chamomile is mainly enjoyed after meals. On its own, this herbal tea also has relaxing properties for sleep. The product can therefore be consumed during the day or in the evening.
