Alpine Herbal Infusion: a carefully chosen blend of leaves, roots and fruit

Are you drawn to invigorating bitter orange, or something gentler and sweeter? With this infusion, there is no need to choose. You will discover a beautifully crafted balance of bitterness, sweetness and freshness. Bitter orange, used to make classic orange wine and essential oils, is a treasure rooted in the tradition of our grandmothers' kitchens. Carrot adds a round, generous flavour, while mint leaves bring lightness and a refreshing quality. Ginger lends a subtle warmth and a gentle hint of spice.

The benefits of this herbal infusion

Orange (whether bitter or sweet), like lemon, is an everyday kitchen staple. There is no shortage of recipes drawing on the fruit, blossom or leaf of the orange tree, from the beloved orange and cinnamon blend so reminiscent of Christmas. And there is a very good reason we love this fruit so much: rich in vitamin C and antioxidants (flavonoids), this wonderfully juicy citrus is a natural ally for skin and hair care. This organic herbal infusion will quickly become your go-to for wellness and wellbeing, and that is truly priceless.

Brewing guide

How to prepare the Alpine Herbal Infusion?

Starting with good-quality water will make all the difference. Ideally, choose water that is low in calcium and lightly mineralised. This organic infusion requires a full boil. The heat encourages the mint leaves and the other ingredients to release all the subtlety of this exceptional blend.

How much to use?

Allow 12 to 15 grams per litre of water. In practical terms, that is 1 teaspoon per cup, or between 2 and 3 grams (roughly equivalent to a standard tea bag).

What is the ideal brewing temperature?

The method is straightforward: bring the water to a full rolling boil, not just a simmer, reaching 100°C. Then allow 7 to 10 minutes for the mint leaves, orange, carrot and ginger to release their aromas.

When to enjoy it?

The Alpine Herbal Infusion can be enjoyed at any time of day. In the morning, its invigorating character gently wakes you up, leaving you feeling refreshed from the first sip. During the day, it is a natural, light companion. In the evening, it becomes a soothing ritual, with all the goodness of orange.

The benefits of loose-leaf herbal infusions

At Thés & Traditions, a wide range of organic loose-leaf herbal and botanical infusions is always available in stock. The resealable pouch or sealed 100-gram tin preserves the quality of all our natural products far better than individual tea bags. The flavour and properties of tea leaves, plants and fruit are maintained at their best. Our tip: always reseal your organic infusion packaging carefully after each use.
