Gunpowder tea: the pearl of tea from China

Produced in the province of Zhejiang, organic Gunpowder tea is native to eastern China. In reference to its tightly rolled leaves, the Chinese called it "pearls of tea" while the English called it "gunpowder tea". When infused, the Gunpowder leaves offer anamber, astringent liquor with a full-bodied and slightly bittertaste . Our organic Gunpowder is drunk plain or with fresh mint leaves.
