Our organic violet green tea brews in two to three minutes, allowing its flavours to unfold gradually. The blend of fine-quality teas and fruit develops beautifully with a little patience.

How much violet green tea to use

For a pronounced violet flavour, we recommend steeping 12 to 15 grams of the blend per litre of water, which is roughly one teaspoon per cup.

What is the ideal brewing temperature for violet green tea?

To bring out the full flavour of our organic violet green tea, water at 75–80 °C works best. Both the Chinese Sencha and the Paï Mu Tan white tea can turn bitter at higher temperatures, and the aromas of the flowers and fruit also change if the water is too hot.
